The Best Is Yet To Come

It is hard to believe how quickly time flies.

It feels like just yesterday that I left for college. Four months ago, I made the transition from high school to college, from an adolescent to a man. College began a new chapter in my life, allowing me to expand my horizons academically and socially. For years, I have been hearing hype about how great college really is but nothing can compete with it firsthand. The ability to make friends from all over the world, pursue your academic interests, and harness the resources of a tight-knit community are all second to none.

I truly believe the best is yet to come.

I am also amazed how much progress Trip of a Lifetime has made in the last four months. I remember meeting with my co-founders over the summer, addressing our concerns with maintaining our rapid growth while we were all away at school. But with our hard work, supportive members, and use of social media, we have been able to reach record levels of donations for the second half of the year. Now that we have established a strong donor base, we will be shifting our focus to community engagement and the upcoming application process. This year, we will be able to take between 4-8 students on trips this summer, a record amount for us, and have officially expanded into New York City.

I am telling you, the best is yet to come.

Happy Holidays

On behalf of all of our members, I want to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday Season. Without your motivation, guidance, and support, we would not be where we are today.

Trip of a Lifetime has many exciting plans in store for the next few months. Look for there to be another Uno’s Doughraiser, a Winter Auction Series, and even a few unannounced surprizes!
