In Memory: 9/11/01-9/11/10
Nine years ago today, tragedy struck this great country of ours. We will never forget the men and woman who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks and the countless more who risked their own lives to save those of innocent people.
September 11th has taught me to never take life for granted; you never know when your days on this great planet may almost be up. We should take advantage of every opportunity we are given to make our own mark on the world.
For me, this mark is Trip of a Lifetime. A little less than two years ago today, I created this organization as a way to give back to my community. I feel everyone in life has a purpose and my purpose was to use travel as a mechanism to inspire teenagers to do great in this world. Travel truly is contagious; one positive experience can benefit many lives and by helping a select few, I have been able to influence whole communities.
On this Day of Remembrance, I urge every one of you to think about what you can do to benefit society. If life ended today, what would your mark be? What can you do to continue the legacy of all those who lost their lives nine years ago today?
